@rama charan you are right,because there is no tag for column its just combination of cells with same index. so the ultimate solution is to make background of td(cell) of same index.

What i understood is you need to change the style background of cell in jquerydatatable grid.

In your code we are unable to find the line where you are getting error as there is no dropdownlist. So the work around is where ever you are binding the dropdownlist and selecting the value ,before the selection try to use property of dropdownlist clearselection() and then you select the value.

In such kind of date Query's most of us get struck wiht the date format,
We dont check that Sqlserver or mysql supports wihc date format.We may pass dateformat as dd/mm/yyyy but server date format may be mm/dd/yyyy
so if you pass 03/02/2012(dd/mm/yyyy) and server consider it as mm/dd/yyyy means it will check for march month instead of feb which we expect.
So please ensure that you are converting date format of the server before executing query.

Ok IF you want to do by this
Here is way->
take one div(divOuter) make its width =100%
inside this take another div(divInner)with syle background-color:green;
now initailly its widht=0
as you want to show progressbar you can increase the width of div by 1%
and till 100% you can set the loop and your progress bar will be ready
(remeber you have to do this loop at the end of function)

Hi, IT Depends how you are bindint listbox, its no where related to content page& master page.You are using property as selecteditem (it will give selected text & selected value) so you cant take as string.
you can take as dim lstItem as listitem=listbox1.selecteditem.
(check once where you are bindng are you binding withour if not page.ispostback)
