Can somebody tell me where i can join to develop any c# based project online, i wanna learn the language by contributing to the project.

Hey this is very simple you keep on watching Quick Answers in codeProject [^] check weather there is any question raised based on C# then search on google and use your own logic to solve the problem I am dam sure that you can learn the language well..

Until you've learnt some basics and are at an acceptable standard, you shouldn't really get involved on projects where you are committing code changesets.

Instead, download source from the many articles on codeproject and various other open source options. Study the code. Try and make a few changes. You can learn so much from what is available.

The best way to learn a language/platform is to find a program, and try to duplicate it's look/feel/functionality using your language/platform of choice. Dylan was right - until you get a really good grip on the language or platform, as well as a suitable amount of maturity under your belt, you should probably avoid team projects.
