Start here[^]. It covers pretty much all of the things that you need to learn to be able to develop in Android. Of course you need to have some background in Java and OOP concepts.

OK, I've tasted several nice java blends and exclaimed "oops!" more than twice within four hours.
So what I need to know for sure: Am I qualified by your standards? ;P

From what I see in your post, it seems that you drank too much java, which makes you overqualified. :P

I am actively trying to know Android for just knowledge. I am still trying and still learning........ :P
