I've had a few goes at editing the question, and I think I've got rid of it.
The problem is with the application/ld+json script block generated for the page. Because the string contains a </script> tag, that seems to close the outer <script type="application/ld+json"> tag, even though it's within a string.

It's been a long time since I wrote any significant JS, but I recall that having the text </script> in any JavaScript block is interpreted as the end tag, irrespective of whether it is in a comment or a string. The solution that I grew up with was to split the string into two concatenated strings e.g. "<script ...>...</" + "script>" but you can't do that in JSON as that expects a string literal, not an expression. So the best that can be done is to use something like "<script ...>...<\x2fscript>". But I am guessing that the code is autogenerated when you submit the question, in which case it is up to the hamsters to fix the autogeneration e.g. just replace all "/" with "\x2f".
P.S. To include the text </script> in the above message, I had to use </script>

I have recently published 2 posts, and I received an email (or web) notification for none of them. I did receive a notification that they were published (your most recent changes were published), but the intial was not sent.
The benefit of the initial email is that I get to intervene myself and fix a few things in the post, such as category, tags and content etc. so that the post looks fine and then publish it myself. Since I do not get a notification, I am unable to intervene and I have to give pain to moderators. 
But, um, is this a site update, or something else? I would love to have it back online.

I can see an event "Post a general forum message (undo)" with a link towards This message[^] which was later on deleted by POH[^]. Now I don't really care about the lost point, but since we're displaying them out to everyone in public they should be counted correctly.

For those unwillig to download it, here are the steps to reproduce:
1. Open Articles menu by hovering your mouse pointer ove "articles"
2. Try to click on "Submit an article or tip".
3. In any case, the "chapters and sections" sub menu expands rapidly and removes any other content in the menu (or blends over or whatever).

Works fine for me in Chrome 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit). The "chapters" menu opens to the right of the main "articles" menu, even if I shrink the window so that there isn't enough room for it.

The default behavior of the CTRL + S key combination is that it shows the save HTML page dialog. Whereas, it would be much better, to only trigger the save document draft function.
The same function is available on WordPress post editor (the previous WP-Admin one), that has a good UX, as the user can have their post saved as a draft when they press CTRL + S, I think the same would be a good feature on CodeProject as well.

But still, "Save HTML document" is not a good experience. It may be my personal review of the features.

Hi all - what is the current thinking on whether source code should always be attached/uploaded to CP for articles ?
I've seen articles in moderation which don't have source code, and have been 'released', similarly I've seen the other side of the coin where someone has pointed to Codeplex, but his sourcecode on Codeplex was at that time inaccessible - see ACoreLib.Tracer: Tracing done right
... as Steve Holle points out in the link above (albeit some time after my original comment to the author), do we expect author's to maintain two sets of code ?
My 'take' is, and moving with the times, we probably dont expect authors maintain 2 sets of code, but, we expect that the code is always available - as was the original intent of 'always having a source code attachment/upload' to an article in the first place
I'm happy to follow (gawd I'm going to hate myself) 'whatever makes sense', but having been a member for a while, I don't want to be 'going against the flow on current standards/recommendations'

We've always allowed members to host the latest version of their code offsite, but we've also always asked members to provide a snapshot of the code we can host locally in case offsite went dark.
Many years ago when we first started CodeProject we had a 100% offsite link breakage rate. It was insane. 100% of links to code offsite eventually broke. Hence the policy.
These days things are vastly different and places like CodePlex and GitHub are usually rock solid. Even so, things change, and it's always safer for everyone to provide a local, emergency copy, even if it's out of date.

All of sudden, codeproject wysiwyg editor stopped working in Google Chrome (Version 56.0.2924.87) browser? Does anyone come across this issue? Are there any fix for it?
Any help appreciated.
FYI, Tried clearing up browsing history, no luck.
