When pasting a URL into a message or answer, there is a script which attempts to retrieve the title of the URL. Nine times out of ten, this works perfectly.
But quite frequently, the script hangs. When this happens, the entire page is frozen indefinitely. There is no way to cancel the script, and no way to copy the partially-composed message so that you can try again.
Please decrease the timeout. If it doesn't get the title within 30 seconds, it should just insert the link without a title.

It's being done synchronously (I know, I know) hence there's no timeout. I'm reworking it to be async so we can have it behave more like a grown up.

Yes, I've noticed it this morning. The CodeProject's articles editor simply failed to place the thumbnails.png file to the list of article's files the number of times. So time after the issue has been resolved.

Go to Your Settings[^], scroll down to the "Close my account" checkbox and select it. Click on Save my settings and it's gone.

I don't think so. But why do you want to delete questions? Those'll be useful for other people in future as those questions have answers.

It really does not matter because the questions will be connected to a dead account, so no connection to you. And, as mentioned above, both questions and answers may be useful to other members in the future.

First of all, thanks for taking the time to read articles on the site. Unfortunately, you have chosen to post your comment on the site, rather than on the forum of the actual article that is giving you problems. The Site Bugs/Suggestions forum is for people to make suggestions or report bugs about CodeProject itself, not a single article. What you need to do is twofold. First, post your comment on the relevant article - that way the author will be notified that there is a problem. Secondly, when you post your comment, try to provide a lot more information than "it is not working" - tell the author what problem you had, what errors you were seeing, etc.

As far as I can see, the Browse code link doesn't seem to work for an article that is waiting for approval. It would be handy if working.
