Sure Chris, here is what I got after following what you said,
In Chrome this happens:
1. Upon navigating to that link, it shows Cookies enabled[^].
2. When I try to login using any social button, it says Cookies not enabled[^].
Not just Chrome has this problem, same happens in Opera for Android:
1. Try to navigate to the link, it shows Cookies enabled[^].
2. After logging in, it says Cookies not enabled[^].
However this doesn't happen in Opera Mini, in Opera Mini it shows Cookies enabled and logs me in (through Facebook indeed).
1. Cookie test[^].
2. Logged in[^].
However, on Chrome and Opera I am still logged in to other services. Facebook, Google, MSDN forums etc all are logged in and I can surf them. Problem occurs with CodeProject account only.
As far as that login is concerned, I do not remember my password and I have requested a password reset[^] token since yesterday and not received it yet.

Looks like we had a spike in traffic at the time you reported this, meaning some DB calls timed out due to load. Your articles are all safe, just a little shy.

As noted by OG about this message[^], some platinum member has been using abuse votes against general, non abusive messages in the Lounge. I have been hit several times like that. I don't know if it is only one person, but whoever is doing this needs to be talked to so that this can stop.

I receive a weekly newsletter that is significantly shorter than the "online newsletter[^]" (July 13 as an example). Why?
For example, my settings include "C#" as one of the topics I want to receive in my newsletter. Compare:

the online version contains all articles you would receive if you don't include a filter. Add a filter and you'll get less articles.

In your preferences you have unchecked "Tips and Tricks" under "Newsletter Topics".
This means

Will not appear in your newsletter, but

should. Similarly for the Updated section.
However, it seems two articles that should be in your newsletter aren't:
- Avoid tedious coding with LeMP, Part 1 (Your article)
- SQL browser

Found and fixed the issue. It was an interesting one.
We have an attribute system that is hierarchical. C#4.0 lives under C#, Win7 lives under Windows. We have a class that manages collections of attributes and it has a property "AttributeNames". This property returns a human readable string of the attribute names in a set of attributes.
Our newsletter system is drive by a JSON content feed, and that content feed uses our Article object, which has an Attributes object, to get information on the items to include in the newsletter. We pass in title, author, date published, and an array of attributes (tags) attached to the article, and the feed returns a JSON object that includes an array of attribute names that the mail system uses to filter content.
All pretty straightforward.
Except article.Attributes.AttributeNames takes into account the parent relationships and so if it has the tags "C#3.0, C#4.0, Win7" it returns "C# (C#3.0, C#4.0), Windows (Win7)". Our JSON feed takes this and assumes it's a comma separated list and splits the list by comma. So we get
- "C# (C#3.0"
- "C#4.0)"
- Windows (Win7)
as the list of attributes.
I've updated the comment on AttributeNames to ensure users know it is for human consumption only, and that they should use NameCommaString() if they want a raw comma delimited list of attribute names.

Okay, so it sounds like this bug affected any authors (like me) who are more specific in their tags - C# 4.0 instead of just C#? Did it affect New articles as well as Updated?

It affected all content that was tagged with an attribute that had a parent attribute.

It would be nice if the small window showing options how the pasted text is going to be formatted could be disabled by an option like "Don't show these options". When disabled all the pasting would be as-is.

In the list of Quick Questions, it would be nice to add a sign near the number of answers to say that a Question is Closed.
What about a red cross ?

If it's closed then it will be removed from the list, you will not see it any more.
