I have installed DOSBox v 0.73. I have read the tutorial from the following link "http://blog.bestsoftware4download.com/2010/02/how-to-install-turbo-c-on-windows-7-64bit/"

I have done all the steps right except step 8. There are four options. I didn't understand which two of them i have to change. Plz help.
If u Don't understand try this. So u can understand better.

Note. Although i am able to run TC.exe from the turbo C folder. But its showing a message that it can not be changed into full screen mode. The screen is so tiny that i can barely see the text in it. I want to do programing using the DOSBox. so help me out.

You can install the Express Edition of Visual C++ and use it to write C code, AFAIK. However, if you have generated an exe, then the program is working, and you have another issue. Perhaps if you told us what 'can't execute' means ?

I have already installed Turbo c. But when i wanted to start the Turbo C its not working. .exe means the Turbo C .exe file.
If you're using a 64 bit version of windows then you won't be able to get DOS programs like Turbo C running. You'll need to use a virtual machine to get it going. Free options include:

- Windows 7 XP mode
- VirtualBox running FreeDOS
- DOSBox

While I haven't tried Turbo C I've got Microsoft C 6 (not Visual C++ 6, the old DOS compiler from 1989 or so) installed on XP mode and it works fine.

Of course if you're running a 32 bit version of windows you've got another problem :-)

Cheers,

Ash
