CAD file .dwg files need to open in sharepoint 2013.

Hi I have one share point list having CAD files stored. We want that everyone can open the files whether they do not have any cad software installed in their machine. As per my understanding we can do by installed app in either in SharePoint app store or using app catalog. Can any one provide me the link to download any such kind of app files having .app extension?

Solution 1

This is not supported with files outside of Office Web Apps [^] and is only for office documents.

This would need to be a 3rd party product for SharePoint, such as the one in the office appstore at https://store.office.com/dwg-viewer-WA104379055.aspx?assetid=WA104379055[^]
