hello,

in c# wpf project I have get this error

C#

error CS8035: Error reading ruleset file C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\Team Tools\Static Analysis Tools\\Rule Sets\ManagedMinimumRules.ruleset - File not found.

after clean install Windows 10 this error preset.

how to resolve it.

this error exits in every new project created

What I have tried:

I tried change ruleset but error not resolve.

When you get an error you don't understand, Google the error message: Error reading ruleset file - Google Search[^]
The top link took me here: visual studio - VS2015 MSB3884 warning: Could not find rule set file - Stack Overflow[^] which explains what to do...

This is the most stupidest answer ever. Look there, search there. the man asked a question, the answer you gave is not a solution it's redirection. plz don't give answers like this one, this is stupid. of course he googled the error message and didn't find solution, that's why he asked it here. i have same problem, i googled it and got this link in google with your stupid answer and no solution.

Actually the 2nd link OG provided explains exactly what to do.
Please don't post offensive comments or you may find your account suspended.
It's also not safe to assume people posting questions have actually bothered to search anywhere else for a solution - in my experience it's quite the opposite.

try to exclude the file from project, it helped me. now i can publish my project.
