How to find out VC++ 6 Debug build

Hi All
I have learned that a few companies working in VC6 sell their products in debug build & not in release build.
So given a software written in VC6 is there any way to identify if the product is in debug build and not in release build ??

Not a big issue, asking just out of curiosity.

Solution 1

You can use my XPEInfo utility: XPEInfo - a non-MFC class to get info from PE file[^]. There are GUI and command line versions; the command line version may be used in a script.
