How to make database acces for multiple user acces?

I have database acces for my application desktop like billing application, i want that database shared to open database by multiple user but realy now i have error message like "database has open exclusive by other user or you not have permision" i don't know what to do... Please help me!

Solution 1

It sounds like the error message is telling you what the problem is. You need to find out why it is opened exclusive or what is locking it or what permissions need to be set on the system.

Here's a place for you to get more info on MS Access in multiuser situations[^]. Remember it's not an industrial strength database.

Yups, it's error message is right becouse i'm use that database in computer one, but when i'am try to open database in computer two this message display. can you help me... mr. Walt Fair, Jr. Tanks..

Did you open it exclusive? Did you limit the number of connections? Does the other CPU have a form open locking tables, records, things?

I really can't troubleshoot this for you, since I'm not there.
