unable to move label in a website in vs2008

i am unable to move a label in vs2008.I just drag and drop label,but can't moving.

i just go to format then position to make it absolute but its also not coming.

Solution 1

Remove your existing label. Set Absolute position first and then drag drop the label. After that you can move label anywhere in the page.

Solution 2

Create a html table with rows and cells. Then you can able to move the controls in between cells(td).
