Hello,

Can anyone help me out with formulas used in .Net Crystal Reports. While I am using the grouping technique in Crystal Reports.

As i looking for a formula to hide a field when not necessary.
Ex: I will give 2 conditions in an Examination types as we have two types of Examinations Held, like 1) Main Exam and 2) Supplementary Exam (or) Backlog Exam

1. I "want to display" 'Backlog Exam' when the student is appearing for it
2. I dont want to display 'Main Exam' when the student is appearing for the exam type.

Therefore, here I am asking how do i manage to hide when it is displaying as Main Exam.

Please Help.

Thanks,

Without more information about your problem, it's quite hard to give targeted answers, but have a look at these for basic formula information:
- Working with Crystal Reports in .Net[^]
- Ken Hamady's Crystal Reports Formulas[^]

Also, even though it's a bit old, you may find this useful: http://scs.unl.edu/training/cheats/cr200.pdf[^]
