I would like to make a "banner" for my software as the ones that word, excel or powerpoint start with when launched, how can I make that?

If you mean the borderless form that appears when you start them, and stays until they are fully loaded, they are called Splash Screens, and a simple google will get you loads of ways: https://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=splash+screen+c%23[^]
