Sql Perfmon counter - perferred value

It is mentioned that Forwarded Records/sec should be < 10 per 100 Batch Requests/Sec, but when I checked the counter I found that the two counters(Forwarded Records/sec & Batch Requests/Sec) are not related
Below are the values for both coounters at some instances respectively

Access Methods\Forwarded Records/sec :27.82655124,139.7820692, 288.8344024
SQL Statistics\Batch Requests/sec 7.39541227,3.661808194,67.26424444

Please can anyone tell why is this variation?

Can you elaborate a little more on the topic. Not too sure what you mean by when if check the counter I found that the two counters are not related

Not sure about the numbers that you have specified but let's say that you have
- 27 forwarded records on an inteval
- 7 batch requests on the same interval

this would mean that you have several forwarded records per batch. The recommendation is to have less than 10%.

If you're wondering how the percentage can be greater that 100%, remember that each batch can update multiple records.

How can I know why the Forwarded Records/sec are more? Could I be able to get the tables which leads to more number of forward Records
Is it possible to get Batch Request details and the no. of Forwarded Records for each batch request, and also how can I trace the error if exists?
