How to call a WCF Web service using JQuery in Vb.net

Hi Friends,
I am new to WCF Web Service. I have created a new WCF Web service and hosted in an IIS. All are fine work till I host and now I want to access the service in an new ASP.Net application using JQuery.

How can I do achieve this using Vb.Net?

Please if any one is aware of this process Please tell me how to proceed in this?

Just tell me some links or some code over here

I read this: I created a SVC service and moved it ti the virtual folder in IIS.
How can I reach the WCF service from my new web application?
Is that the question`?

Yes it is same in manner but I want to call that service using JQuery.

How can I do this? Please do reply if you have any answer
