Publish code vs Source code (while Deploying Asp.net web site)

hello guys,I need to know which way is better when deploy web site on IIS.
by Publishing code or directly copying Source code ie. both(aspx,aspx.cs) files

u will have to publish it because copying file will not create any like with IIS and ur application

Solution 1

Publish code because the code is precompiled and doesn't contain unnecessary files (such as .cs). Also do remember to publish it in Release mode.
