When trying to open "ToDoList 7.1" it tells me:
"The application failed because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

Thank you very very much.
P.s.
I'm copying the program from win 7 to XP and back so my question is if I leave the 'todolist.exe.manifest' will it work in both windows with no problems that I don't know of?

Does anyone have an idea how one still could get hold of this app even though itseems thatit's not any longer in the AppStore?

Hi Simon
AFAIK it's no longer under development because Apple keeps forcing app makers to upgrade to their latest SDK and this was more effort than the author had time to spare.
I will remove the link

Same error always, through 7.1.1.4, even when running as admin and after reboot.

Hi Tony

Only the file cited was noted in the log. After several previous attempts the update just succeeded. Now on 7.1.1.4.

Is this a bug?
I try to import a file that was exported from another todo list program, and I get this message "you must include 'title' in your column mapping".
I don't know where it wants me to write a title.

After you have chosen the CSV to import you are shown a dialog "Import Tasks from CSV".
Can you supply a screenshot of that dialog pls?

Replace 'Task ID' in the right-hand column with 'Title'.
'Task ID' is a numeric format that holds an internal unique identifier for each task.

I know it has RTL text but what about the UI?
For example: the "project" window will be at the right side of the screen, and the comments will be at the left side.
The tasks and all the rest will be aligned to the right and so on...
P.s.
Looks like a wonderful program.

Thanks for the reply.
Will it be in the future (Near\far)?
I don't know how this feature works but is it simple like a website that can be RTL or LTR?
That you just need to add a code to justify all the material to the designated side?

I ran into some problems with 7.1 not always tracking time reliably, and after upgrade (which couldn't be completed automatically), I found that I still had several log files that were completely empty despite having had time tracked… and these files would not accept further time tracking even after the upgrade (it would silently fail). I had to delete the files in order to free up the tasks for more time tracking.
TDL should handle missing headers better.

Todolist is a very good piece of software. Codeproject is also a good site with much info & discussions. There is a concern that many types of websites, such as Codeproject, are being put on "the back burner" or going extinct due to the internet being taken over by government intrusion, corporate monopolies, and catering to many bimbo like surfers that don't care what corporate America does with the internet as long as it is all made into bimbo like interests (e.g. reruns of the Jerry Springer show while great programs are being gobbled up in pay for it interests and intelligent sites going by the way side). As always must make this comment (this comment is like that book 1984 or movie Clockwork Orange but in reverse from users to the powers that be!). Login, although intrusive, was ok in that only an email address required. But "the secret web" is becoming all too apparent as information and other items is becoming scant, which much of the blame must be due to New Millennium Act which, like drugs and other maladies used by organizations to snoop into peoples lives (on a dictatorship level!), is being used to squash and silence the common person while ignoring the possibility that the people in these organizations will be held accountable some day (by the people upstairs!). Also organizations seem to be making many things a "pay for everything type world" which is great if you are one of the lucky ones but what about the majority of people that are lowly saps hanging on the fickle finger of fate? Maybe I should have put this under rants, but this same sentiment should be echoed by as many as possible, unless of course they are stupid: welcome to the human race!
