Hi Dan
thank you, fine.
I saw that "yourlanguage.csv" is from today. Is it completely up-to-date?

Confirm that the "find task dialog not changing operator" problem reported earlier seems fixed.

Hi Alex,
I did some fairly rigorous tests using a tasklist with 2700+ tasks under Vista, on a single core 2.67GHz with 1.25Gb ram.
I split the tasks equally between having a category of 'A' and a category of 'H'.
Then I set the category to 'A' and refreshed the filter 4 times via the 'View' menu.
Then I changed the category to 'H' and refreshed as before.
Results from 6.6.DR4.1
CFilteredToDoCtrl::RefreshFilter() took 938 ms

I'm not sure what you are seeing but it's different from me.
If you want to try my tests I've uploaded the tasklist I used.
ps. I'm happy to perform any other tests that you recommend.

Seems the shutdown check is not working in Win7 in this version.
Now i don't get a prompt saying - "TodoList is saving settings...."

The New Subtasks shortcut (in my case "CTRL + SHIFT + N") does not work anymore in Dev 3 while it´s still possible to do this via rightclick!
Thank You

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this.
Can you confirm that the shortcut is still correctly set in the preferences?

Yes it´s set exactly i said. The shortcut is even displayed if creating a subtaks via right-click menu.
Thanks for DR 4.1

I just downloaded a clean version of DR4.1 and the shortcut worked fine. Can you also perform this test?

|

|

Well, here it works again too!

Cool. Let me know if it happens again.

Strange, it happend again.
I noticed that it is just not possible to assign the Shortcut (CTRL + SHIFT + N)to any function in the preferences. It´s not displayed in the small display above the "Assign"-Button. You can display/assign CTRL + N and SHIFT + N but if you press both it displays "Keine" (None).
It´s possible that the problem lys outside TDL (keyboard, other programs stealing this hotkey)
Thank You
Alexandra

Those work fine. They are my workaround.
Although i haven´t figured out what app is stealing CTRL + SHIFT + N i´m glad it´s not a TDL problem.
Sorry for causing any confusion!

If you add a column to your tasklist a relavant edit field will appear. I suggest (if it's feasible of course)) making this appearance an option, hiding edit fields behind right click options.
The process could looks as follows: for example I need to add Due date. 1) select a relavant column 2) click on the field of the task I want to put due date a select from calendar (just like we have now for Due date edit field) 3) choose the appropriate date.
In such a case overall design becomes more simplified and not overwhelmed with excessive clicks as you have your tasks, comments and filters on your display.

Whereas Category and Allocated to have check/uncheck boxes for adding/removing them, to remove a certain Status you need to press Delete on your keyboard. Wouldn't it be more consistent to add check/uncheck box to Status as well?
Alex
P.S. It's related to a lower Status edit field, the upper field is ok.

I believe that a task can have multiple "Categories" and multiple "Allocated to", but only one status. And maybe that's the reason for the different handling.

You see I've got "Status", "Allocated to" and "Category" columnes, so relevant edit fields are there too (both upper and lower ones). The question is that in the lower edit field there is no square check box to check/uncheck (f.i. [] Deferred) the upper is ok.
