A Java Class Browser written in C++ using WTL

Sample Image

JCB is my first program I wrote using WTL (Windows Template Library). WTL is an ATL based wrapper around the windowing portions of the Win32 API.

Features of JCB Version 1.1

  • Reads a java class file (.class).
  • Shows the fields and methods of the class.
  • Shows the innerclasses of the class.

We were looking just for something like this for a project we were doing for our ex-highschools Java class. However because the teachers only know VB we had to write the application - a simple java editor which is similar to EditPlus but be able to build and compile code as well via shelling out javac...

Is there a way of getting this to be moved over to ActiveX or maybe parsing the hWnd of the treeview so it can be populated via the DLL? I am not an experienced C++ developer, my main life revolves around .NET and VB...

I'd be happy to discuss this via email...
