James Westgate has been programming with Microsoft technologies for over 10 years. His formal programming career began with COBOL and RPG on an IBM AS/400 before making the jump to client server development in the mid 90's.

He gained an MCSE and MCSD and implemented one of the first large scale COM+ systems.

Since 2001 he has been Technical Director and founder of Crainiate Software focused on implementing innovative component products for Microsoft .NET professionals.
