Started software development at about 15 years old and it seems like now it lasts most part of my life. Fortunately did not spend too much time with Z80 and BK0010 and switched to 8086 and further. Similar with programming languages – luckily managed to get away from BASIC and Pascal to things like Assembler, C, C++ and then C#. Apart from daily programming for food, do it also for hobby, where mostly enjoy areas like Computer Vision, Robotics and AI. This led to some open source stuff like
AForge.NET,
Computer Vision Sandbox,
cam2web,
ANNT, etc.
Going out of computers I am just a man loving his family, enjoying traveling, doing some sports, a bit of books, a bit of movies and a mixture of everything else. Always wanted to learn playing guitar, but it seems like 6 strings are much harder than few dozens of keyboard’s keys. Will keep progressing ...
Developing Windows desktop applications since 1995.

Chris Boss is the owner (and programmer) of a small software development business in rural Virginia, called the Computer Workshop. For the last ten years or so he has been developing tools for use by Powerbasic programmers (see: http://powerbasic.com ). His main product called EZGUI (Easy GUI) is a high level GUI engine with Visual Designer and code generator. It is in its fifth generation now. He is an experienced Windows API programmer (more low level) and has experience in writing GUI engines (forms/controls), drag and drop Visual Designers, Graphics engines (printing and to the screen) and one of his favorites is a Sprite engine (2D animated movable images). His current project is version 5.0 of his main product EZGUI, adding such features as multi-monitor support, component engine, custom control engine, superclass engine and the latest project a 3D OpenGL based custom control. One of the goals he has is to push the limits of Windows software development, while making it easy, fast execution speed, small footprint (size of executables) and code reusability while providing a more graphic experience in user interfaces, while still being able to write software which can fit on a floppy disk (small footprint), use minimal amount of memory and able to run on multiple versions of Windows from 95 to Win8.

I have been working in the Oil & Gas Industry for over 30 years now.
Core Discipline is Instrumentation and Control Systems.
Completed Bsc Honours Degree (B29 in Computing) with the Open University in 2012.
Currently,
Offshore Installation Manager in the
Al Shaheen oil field, which is located off the coast of Qatar. Prior to this, 25 years of North Sea Oil & Gas experience.
I deliver robust, clean, adaptable, future-ready applications that are properly documented for users and maintainers. I have deep knowledge in multiple technologies and broad familiarity with computer and software technologies of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
While it isn't perceived as sexy, my focus has always been the back end of the application stack, where data arrives from a multitude of sources, and is converted into reports that express my interpretation of The Fundamental Principle of Tabular Reporting, and are the most visible aspect of the system to senior executives who approve the projects and sign the checks.
While I can design a front end, I prefer to work at the back end, getting data into the system from outside sources, such as other computers, electronic sensors, and so forth, and getting it out of the system, as reports to IDENTIFY and SOLVE problems.
When presented with a problem, I focus on identifying and solving the root problem for the long term.
Specialties: Design: Relational data base design, focusing on reporting; organization and presentation of large document collections such as MSDS libraries
Development: Powerful, imaginative utility programs and scripts for automated systems management and maintenance
Industries: Property management, Employee Health and Safety, Services

Roger has worked in IT for over 25 years in numerous roles (Technical Support, Quality Assurance, Capacity & Performance Engineering and Software Development).
During that time, he has recognized that software often just becomes another layer of work that the user has to wade through.
Sometimes technical documentation is like that too: so confusing and complex that it wastes developers' time.
That's why when he writes his books like
Programming Windows 10 Via UWP and his articles (
Practical Electronics For Makers) he strives to explain things in the shortest available space with the simplest language possible. Often that means, writing in a tutorial style with numerous images to help guide the user.
He believes the best guiding principle is Einstein's famous quote: "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler."
I Started my Programming career with C++. Later got a chance to develop Windows Form applications using C#. Currently using C#, ASP.NET & ASP.NET MVC to create Information Systems, e-commerce/e-governance Portals and Data driven websites.
My interests involves Programming, Website development and Learning/Teaching subjects related to Computer Science/Information Systems. IMO, C# is the best programming language and I love working with C# and other Microsoft Technologies.

Randy C. Finch has a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering and worked in that capacity for several years after graduating from the University of Louisville in 1978. However, when the personal computer revolution hit in the early 1980's his interests shifted. Fortunately, he was able to move into computer work at the company for which he worked. Over the past 35 years he has programmed computers both at his job and at home. He became very proficient at Visual Basic, VBA, C, and C++. He also spent many years writing programs for the SAS System. He presented many papers at SAS conferences and eventually became a member of the Executive Council of the SouthEast SAS Users Group, co-chairing a conference in 1998. He spent many years writing Microsoft Office applications, mostly in Excel and Access. He has had over 50 papers published in journals and magazines, some work-related and others personal. He also wrote a regular column about Amiga computers in a computer journal for two years. Apart from his writing about computers, he has written poetry and has three published books; one humor book, one novel, and one non-fiction book. He enjoys photography and has won several awards for his photos as well as having many published. In his retirement years, he has recently become interested in programming with Visual Basic.NET.

No Biography provided
MCSD/MCSA/MCP working with what I like best - architecture, development and consulting.
I’ve been in the software industry for over 10 years now. Graduating from university with a 1st in Computer Science, I accidentally found myself in a software testing career instead of the development career I intended. But that was no bad thing… I quickly learned that via test automation, I still got to do all the coding and technical things that I loved. And I’ve loved it since.
My first role was developing test scripts in VB in a QTP framework, and from there, quickly moved in to roles where I was developing frameworks in C# for companies that had no previous automation in place. Fast forward to where I am now and I am freelancing as an automation consultant, going in to companies to build frameworks or provide support and expertise to those who already have automation in place.
I'm a software developer from Hungary, primarily interested in .net solutions.
