have you added ajax control toolkit dll in bin folder?
|
|
|
|
|
What is the thread culture you are using? Error says that it's a culture specific issue and resource files related to the culture you are trying is missing. Get the resource files of AjaxControlToolkit for the locale you are using.

Add
<asp:ToolkitScriptManager ID="ToolkitScriptManager1" runat="server">
</asp:ToolkitScriptManager>
tage on your page or If you are using Master page then just use the above tag on master page.

You might need to add the toolscript manager to your code.

Hi
I am developing a web application and I am having to use CSS2.1, which I have discovered does not provide a simple way to rotate text. Therefore, I am asking anyone if they know of another way to rotate text through 90 degrees?

Hi all,
I am new to rss feeds, please help.
I am facing problem to consume rss feeds, I found several articles on How to consume RSS feeds, they helped me to some extened but I didn't get info for what exactly i am looking.
My problem is:
I tried to consume feeds from these two URLs
http://www.sowetan.co.za/rss/Sowetan_TopStories.xml
http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/mostviewed
I've used this code to get the feeds info
XmlTextReader readerSport = new XmlTextReader("http://www.sowetan.co.za/rss/Sowetan_TopStories.xml"); //http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/mostviewed
DataSet dsSport = new DataSet();
dsSport.Clear();
dsSport.ReadXml(readerSport);
for both the feed dataset have same 8 tables but with diffrent names, and if i write the xml using the folloing code
XmlDocument xmlDoc = new XmlDocument();
xmlDoc.Load("http://www.sowetan.co.za/rss/Sowetan_TopStories.xml");
//xmlDoc.Load("http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/mostviewed");
xmlDoc.Save(Server.MapPath("~/sowetan.xml"));
after observing the genrated xml, both the xml have diffrent structure.
My Questions are:
1. What information required to display the feed content?
2. if we have diffrent structures for the genrated xml how can we write a single transform method?
3. Is all the 8 tables data required for displayingrss content, In most article i found they've used only for table 3
4. I want to open the feed content on my webpage, how it can be done.
Please any one help me on the above quesions.

Don't use integrated security and specify a username and password in your connection string.
|
|
|
|
|
string connString = @"server = .\sqlexpress; integrated security = true; database = MyDatabase";
hv i to use this
string connString = @"server = .\sqlexpress; username = "xyz" ; password = "xyz" ; database = MyDatabase";

Something like that. I think it is user id instead of username, and of course no quotes around the values. For a good reference see http://www.connectionstrings.com/[^]

Hi,
im trying to use the webcam on a webpage, I created the control in C# , when working with a normal windows form app, it works fine , displaying the image that it gets from the webcam, but when i convert it into a activex control so that i can use the functionality on a aspx page , the webcam gets initialized but i only see a black box where the cam feed is supposed to be, ive tried a lot of ways now but i cant seem to display a picture in the picture box in the activex control, it just stays black,
so if someone could please assist me in do this,
either how to use the webcam on a aspx page or how to display a image saved on the client pc
(when i save an image on the client pc with the activex control it saves fine, it just does not display on the page)
I need this to take pictures of employees ect via the website

You cannot create ActiveX using .NET. But you can do similar by luck. There are lots of steps to follows. I tried to create on and finally dropped that plan. I suggest you to create the ActiveX either using VC++ or VB6.

I used this to create the activex component,
maybe 1 of u guys can help me with displaying an image from the clipboard on the page using javascript, or display it using activex, just for info , this is a intranet site, will only be used by employees, not by public,

Hi all can anybody clarify me that... can an asp webpage support both C# and javascript? pls clarify me.. i'm new in this....
|
|
|
|
|
Yes. C# is the server side scripting language, and javascript is the client side scripting language.
Any thing you want to perform at server side you need to code in c# or vb.net and for any thing you want to do at the client side like validation, animation, toggling you need to write javascript code for that.

I have a doubt on this. Strictly speaking, I don't think C# is a 'scripting' language. C# is server side language. We can say that it supports scripting. Correct me if i am missing something.
