To get the selected Text from the dropdownlist
TextBox2.Text = DropDownList1.SelectedItem.Text;
To get the selected Value from the dropdownlist
TextBox2.Text = DropDownList1.SelectedValue;
(or)
TextBox2.Text = DropDownList1.SelectedItem.Value;

Through collection its 100% possible..The basic problem is there tht the event (DropDownList2_SelectedIndexChanged)is not fired on ..so the problem is arising..
else the associated code is absolutly running fine(TextBox2.Text = DropDownList2.Text;
TextBox2.Text = DropDownList1.SelectedValue;).
Both statments r crect

Dear ASP.NET Programmers,
I encountered the following problem when running my project: JUst replaced the latest code onto the server with os
windows 2003 server.Using ASPNET user in the iis settings.
I tried the following things but nothing worked.
1) I tried to look for whether my indexer service is running or not but it was not runnning.
2) I tried to open my temporary asp.net file folder under C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322 and tried to check whether any files are created for my project but there was no folder by the name of my virtual directory except for just "root" folder.
Server Error in '/' Application.

I'm not able to read this here (work) because of lockdown, but this may shed some light:
ASP.NET 2.0 Master page and child pages viewstate inheritance
I checked the viewstate of the master page it was enabled and so was on the search involved controls. I never even thought to look at the child page which ...

Hi,
First things first, please don't mind for posting this
here. This is very urgent, and the hardware forum is
really slow, so I had no choice. Apologies in advance.
I'm planning to build a high-end PC within a decent budget.
(At least I hope to)
I want to know whether the single core Intel 3.2 GHz CPU
or the dual core Athlon 3600+ will offer better performance?
(Let's say I have to choose between these two).
Also, is the single core 3.2 GHz Intel CPU 64 bit? I know the
Athlon 3600+ dual core is 64bit. Does having 64bit mean better
performance?
I plan to run very cpu intensive applications like Audio Workstations
and 3d Graphics software.
Basically, this is going to be a multimedia production and video
editing system.
Also, please tell me to what extent can the motherboard affect
the performance. Is is really a performance factor? Or will a
decent motherboard do?
Please let me know quickly as I have to make the decision within
a few hours.
Thanks.
ASP - AJAX is SEXY. PERIOD.

I decided on ATHLON X2, and it's great for what you need. Just one precaution. I was using an X-FI soundcard, and there is a major conflict with this card and nvidia chipsets. Go with the ATI chipset instead.

Dear It depands on the shoping cart. Go to the site there will be option for payment. However u can test it on http://arif.etradehouse.com. Select Items, Click on Check Out and then Select a method World Pay. U will be redirected to World Pay Secure Pages where u can enter ur card information. Remember No money will be payed from u. It is test. Only Test it.

I'd say it depends on the payment gateway supplier which code/articles are worth reading. Most likely the service provider will have some tutorials and similar for you.

I have installed SQL 2005 Beta 2.It was not working properly so I have uninstall it.Now I am trying to install SQL 2005 Express that comes with Visual Studio.net 2005 but I couldnt install it because not all of the Beta 2 files have been removed (and they dont appear in the Add/Remove Programs in the control panel) so I used msiinv.exe and msiexec.exe in the command prompt to remove it but this way didnt solve my problem.Could any one tell me how could I Remove These Beta 2 files from my computer?.
I think this link will explain my problem for you more clearly:
http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2005/07/01/using-msiinv-to-gather-information-about-what-is-installed-on-a-computer.aspx[^]
My problem is similar to Syed Irtaza Ali problem written in the comments in the link above.
