how to provide Forms Authentication to a solution with more than one project.
How can i provide Forms Authentication common to entire solution when all projects have their own web.config files.

I am trying to prevent from cross script attacks on my site. Trouble is that it is a shared database and I can't garuntee the data coming back is not dangerous. So I am trying to HtmlEncode all data coming from the database.
I am using a data access class to fetch all data. This class has a few methods to do this in different forms. Encoding a dataset is easy because you can simple loop through every item and encode it.
The problem is with a DataReader. All items are read only so how i can I encode them before they are passed to other classes as a DataReader? Any Ideas?
Also is there a better way to encode all data? Like when it is rendering? because nearly everything needs to be encoded.

If it is written in document that use Datareader then You have to search lil more... or else just don;t use Datareader.... because u can then also work fine...

You could extend the DataReader class with and override the ToString method to HTMLEncode everything.

Hi my problem is:
there is a linkbutton called samplesGiven. If I click on SamplesGiven Linkbuton gridview should appear. Grrid has three columns.. SKUName, Quantity and UOM.. SKUName is binding from database.. I made Quantity and UOM as templatefields each has textbox and dropdownlist respectively.. Now I entered some values in Quantity Textbox and selected item frorm Dropdown list.. If I click Insert button I have to access values of those controls.. pls see the following code. it is giving null always.

if u are trying to redirecting page from Code behind
then use Response.Redirect("HTTPS://YOU-PAGE-NAME");
rather being Response.Redirect("YOU-PAGE-NAME");

Ok sorry its my mistake... i think i did'nt understood it..
it you want to change your HTTP pages (i.e.) in Secure then u have to use SSl ..
you got to register your IIS with SSL....
