How does a mobile instant messenger work? sourabh061210-Dec-12 23:22 sourabh0612 10-Dec-12 23:22  Hi, I want to know working of a mobile instant messenger like whatsup or chaton etc. is it different from desktop IMs like yahoo, gmail(gtalk) etc? Also can we make a platform independent app for mobile? If yes, how? Where i need to code to make it platform independent? Please tell me how should i proceed? I'll fell great for your help...
