Sorry, I meant Nikon! Honestly I have not kept up on all the new cameras over the last few years. I still prefer print photos; the Kodak Portra film is amazing.

I have a PM who is starting to do this on the side. He's got into the hardware as a hobby and gone from there, last week he did his first wedding and I think he found it a challenge. Having said that his real passion is photoshopping to get some really dramatic end results. He's been at it for 2 years!

Not surprised at the Photoshop part of it. I've been browsing wedding website portfolios for some time now and the vast majority of pics are severely post-processed to look good.

He takes great pleasure in trotting out his latest works, I look at them but it is a passion I don't share. I have suggested he go for the more subtle enhancing but I may be doing him a disservice. To me a photo is a memory, to him it's a peice of artwork, different perspectives!
