Infosys has been gradually going down the sewer for a while now. A bit unfortunate as it was once an respected company with good ethics and were friendly to their employees. But things have turned around, and as it would seem, not for good.

Well, that's sort of the point - you can't expect racists to be well informed and logical 
Also, for most of the North Indian population, anybody south of the Vindhyas is a Madrasi. And equally, for many South Indians, anybody not from the 5 southern states is a North Indian, I even know some people who consider Hyderabadis North Indians
