Probably not a good idea for two reasons:
- This will almost certainly cripple the common people, but elite and the terrorists will continue to operate as per usual.
- China has been an arse (nothing new) by purposely not providing hydrological data to India, despite the signed agreement. If we scrap the Indus waters treaty, it might give China an opportunity to be a total turd on the Brahmaputra front, which could have a devastating effect on North Eastern states as they may cut off the supply, and/or open the floodgates at the worst possible time to cause floods. This will also affect Bangladesh, who we don't need to irritate unnecessarily.

Additionally in a Rare(est) Closed-door meeting of the UNSC regarding the Kashmir issue only China backed Pakistan, where rest of the Nations were in favor of India. Another backlash for Terroristan.
What a Great Price India is Paying for the critical blunder from Nehru-Gandhi family by Gifting China a UN seat! First Nehru created a permanent problem in the name of Kashmir and now his loving Chinese Dragon at UN is causing lots of troubles for India.

According to the news, India ends goodwill gesture, stops sharing the Hydrological data with Pakistan for the Indus Rivers flowing from J&K. Additionally, Indian officials claimed that they will/can use the water from the western rivers(read it as rivers favoring Pakistan according to Indus Treaty*) for anything. The step taken is applaudable however it's too late it should have been in action at an immediate effect after URI or Pulwama blasts.
* I am so sad that Nehru gave so much water resources to Pakistan during the treaty in 1960. One of the greatest blunders is really hard to fix

As the entire Congress opposed the removal of Article 370 there are few stands in support for it. Looks like there are 'some' nationalists left in congress and after Pappu has gone they can raise their voices as well.
Bhvneshwar Kalita, the biggest move came from this bold guy.
He immediately resigns from the Party against the whip issued by Congress to protest his party's stand against removal of Article 370. He said it's suicide to oppose this historic move.

Yeah, certainly a good sign and even more names are popping out. I really appreciate they can speak for Nations interest, unlike their party.
However, Adhir Ranjan Congress leader in Parliament made the self Goal and spoiled last remaining goodwill for the Party. What a pathetic piece of crap came out of his mouth!

I wasn't knowing much about of him till yesterday but got to know of him in the yesterday's Loksabha session, can't believe in times like this politicians don't take side for their own country but speak in line for the Enemy nation. 
The bill passed with 3/4 majority which was tremendous in itself suggesting our Country wasted so many years by not putting the bill on the table.

I think it is historical moment when govt started discussion to remove article 370, also making J&K and ladakh as UT.

Home ministry has mobilized about 35K troops in the valley. Govt. has asked pilgrims and tourists to leave the state ASAP. Amarnath pilgrimage has been halted. Word is, something big is about to happen.

It looks like a permanent solution is underway for Kashmir another critical blunder created by - Jawaharlal Nehru.
With that, Article 370 is Revoked and as speculated, Bifurcation of J&K state will take place in Parliament two Union territories Jammu & Kashmir through a presidential order. 
That's the most courageous step after Nuclear tests by any Indian government.
One has to have balls to 'touch' article 370.
