Sounds like connection timeout issue. Make sure that the connection is active and above for a good period so that your bulk records are easily transferred.

Hi friends,
I want to build web based app to display data in chart.
that data it will be csv file and then import to sql database and then process by asp .net with output chart display.
Anyone can help?or give me reference..
Thankyu.

You have two processes, don't complicate things by joining them together. Attack each problem separately. First, figure out a way to get your CSV into the database - should be fairly simple. Do you need users to upload the CSV through the web site or can you use BCP on the SQL Server to load it yourself? Answer questions like that and then you can start to tackle the CSV import problem.
Once you have the data in the database, or at least you are sure of the database schema, you can start to design your charting tool. I suggest using an existing charting library like one of these...

I have created a elevator functionality [there are 2 floors and corresponding to each one , there is a checkbox. Depending upon which checkbox is checked, the elevator should move to that floor.
Only thing which i am not able to implement here is:
Make the checkbox check automatically and slowly fadeout to unchecked state when the orange elevator has reached that checkbox.
Here is the link to the markup and script: http://jsfiddle.net/hurricaneankit/qR4uJ/

Hmmm... i would use a loop (for / next) to change the Color from yellow to the background in small steps and the opposite way to fade it in on the other box...

For your animate() function, you can pass in a function to execute when the animation is completed. You can't "fade" your checkbox, but you can un-check it.
$(function(){
$(document).ready(function () {
$("#check1").click(function () {
$("#check1").toggleClass('checked');
$("#check2").removeClass('checked');
$("#groundDiv").animate({
"top": "0px"
}, 1000, function () {
});
});
});

How can sites developed in php or any other language be integrated into a downloadable mobile web application
|
|
|
|
|
PHP is an ServerSide Language and can not run in the Browser like an HTML File that you open... To Use PHP you allways require an Webserver that supports PHP (i am not aware if there is an Xammp installation for Mobile devices...)
Also, Mobile devices are using different Brwosers and different OS's.
As long as you do not specify what kind of Mobile Devices you want to use, HTML5 or/and Java would be the most flexible way.

Hello! I have a problem for you guys
*Sorry for my English I'm French
I would like to build a stage composed with three superimposed plans.
The background is a set which can contain arbitrary graphic elements, by an image or a series of images.
The median plan is a time line on which are aligned objects (symbolized by icons)
The foreground allows the display in close-up of an object, accompanied with a note.
The navigation in the page is made with the scroll (horizontally or vertically).
Both plans of the background move by respecting an effect of parallax, the closest plan moving faster than the plan in the back which give a deep impression..
When a icon situated on the time line passes in the center of the window, it is " intercepted " and placed from the point of view of focus.
When an object is on this plan, it is associated with a note wich give its definition.
Here's an image:
http://www.freeimagehosting.net/3u11g[^]
The problem has 4 parts:
1) Find a method to make a scroling of the graphic elements (Parallax?)
2) Determine if an icon of the line of time line is in the middle of the window
3) Resize the icon and show the associated text.
4) Move the HTML element associated with the icon of the branch
DOM " Time line " towards the branch "Focus ".

HI All,
I want to hide printer dialog box in javascript.
Any help will be appreciated.

That is a web page/browser issue and nothing to do with Javascript.

i am learning php from [http://www.lynda.com/PHP-tutorials/php-with-mysql-essential-training/435-2.html]. When i am at the "Building a Content Management System" part, i am having some trouble.

In addition to Richard's comment, I'll point out that mysql functions have been deprecated.
You should instead be using the PDO or mysqli extensions. (They sanitize user-input and help protect your databse)

I just constructed a reporting system using PHP and MYSql, it worked fine on my WAMP but since making it live sometimes it throws an error and won't allow anyone to insert data.
I think it's because multiple people are trying to enter data at the same time or it could be just on my end.
Is there a way to handle the traffic? I was looking at "deadlock" and found this:
$retry=0;
$notdone=TRUE;
while( $notdone && $retry<3 ) {
try {
$transaction->begin();
$do_all_the_transaction_stuff();
$transaction->commit();
$notdone=FALSE;
} catch( Exception $e ) {
// here we could differentiate basic SQL errors and deadlock/serializable errors
$transaction->rollback();
$retry++;
}
}
if( 3 == $retry ) {
throw new Exception('Try later, sorry, too much guys other there, or it's not your day.');
}
I tried to implement it but it ended up sending 11,000 copies of the information entered into the form.
How do I use this? I have four fields i'm trying to enter data to.
Thanks for any and all help,
to be honest I don't even know if I'm on the proper track or not...

I'm loading some html as a text string, and displaying it in an ASP.Net page.
The html has a link in it, and the link isn't clickable. It is decorated link a link, but the cursor doesn't change to the finger.
What would be causing that?
EDIT ==================
Well, I tried pasting the code into the aspx file, and that didn't help UNTIL I moved it to be before a series of canvas tags. But any link that follows the canvas tags don't work.
EDIT ==================
The problem was that the canvases were too big, thus somehow masking the link tag.
