first make sure you are getting all the errors. you need to configure in php.ini file.
and if the file is missing then you can read the name of the file on the error message finally you wont get any help from visual studio cause I guess you are using php or cgi

I managed to get past all this and I have loaded most of the web site now.
The next step is to find some way to step through the web site. How do I use visual studio to debug an html index page and step through the code?

It is pretty simple and can be done in the following steps:
1. Rent or buy a webserver (or webhposting) package
2. Make sure you have Java support with your hosting provider
3. Ask them how to deploy a Java project with them, as this may be different per hosting provider

Hi techies,
I have been working with Anthem Multi Task Indicator.
My acctual requirement is, I need to process few orders in the application, So i am using Multi Task indicator to status of order by order.
I have deployed the application, It will finsih one order and show the status and It will go to next order and process it. We have deployed the application in one of our servers. It is working perfectly if i run the aplication from Local Netowrk.
if i run the same application from out side of the network, then it will process first order and it is not going to next order.
it will simply shows that it is processing first order, Even though all the operations are done for 1st first order.
Please suggest me on this.
Thank you,
Sreeni Pavalla

Well, as this sounds like a third party piece of software, I'd suggest that you need to get in touch with the manufacturers, possibly via their support forums. Coming to somewhere like Code Project for support on a commercial product is not going to be the best use of your time.

After I renamed a namespace from AA to CA, I get the following error in various sections of my website code:
'ca' is not accessible in this context because it is 'Friend'...Whenever I try to retype the namespace in caps VS auto lower cases it (what's up with that?)
This error did not occur before the namespace change and not all of the new name namespace references are causing the same error.
Ideas?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I suppose you could try to rename everything back by first closing the solution and then opening all of the solution files in something like NotePad++ and do a case sensitive search and replace. BTW, AA or CA as a namespace is not very descriptive or useful - I prefer longer, more descriptive names.

That's a good idea to force the uppercase. I only used those names for the example though. I'm still wondering about this error.

It's possible the renaming has either caused a conflict or there as 'AA' as part of another namespace or class anem and you have broken it by replacing it with 'CA'. If you want to rename objects you shoudl ensure that you check the options to both match case and whole word only.

Hi everyone.
I need to know what it means:
HTTP/1.1 proxies MUST parse the Connection header field before a message is forwarded and, for each connection-token in this field, remove any header field(s) from the message with the same name as the connection-token.
Does it mean that the Proxy Server MUST remove the Connection: keep-alive and Proxy-Connection: keep-alive before forwarding the message to the remote server?!
Sojaner!

I assume it means that custom tokens are supported for Connection:, and that these may also appear as custom headers. For example:
Connection: DoWhatISay
DoWhatISay: something goes here...
A proxy must take every token appearing in the Connection header, and then remove any header lines that *begin* with that token. In this case, it must strip the DoWhatISay header out (and, I assume, the Connection).

If I may ask the gestalic intelligentsia gathered a question.
Why is it that the http-equiv="refresh" meta tag frowned upon?
I have heard that it can even reduce the page ranking.
Is it an evil that is to be avoided?
Is there an alternative way of doing live updating?
What is the reasoning behind its unpopularity?

Ok, I can see why it is 'Generally' frowned upon.
However I have a page that needs to refresh the contents of an iframe once every minute and I can think of no simpler way of doing it.

Good links, thanks.
But I have a page that shows the league tables as they stand, so it needs to be refreshed every minute so that it is bang up to date, and the meta refresh is how I do it.
If it is bad practice, how else would I do this?

A JavaScript setTimeout call that refreshes the page after 1 minute?

Fair enough, it has the same functionality, but it is not as simple though is it.
