Yes I can see it now. thanks a lot. I was concerned if the images were of wrong size or quality. Looks good now
So the trick to make your article get approved faster is to have broken images

I am currently writing an article on how to manage developers for managers with little to no technical experience.
What section would the article come under?
Thanks

My blog is being consumed via an RSS feed. There are some posts that really don't belong here. Is there anything I can do to prevent them from being consumed or displayed? If I delete the article on this site it just get consumed again in the next poll of my RSS feed.

Are you marking each blog entry with a <category> field, or a rel-tag?
Thanks,

Neither, once I tag one post with a category blogger puts it in the top level channels so all items inherit the property.

For some RSS feeds I recommend using rel-tags only. Seems to work better. You can see how to use them here:

Please let me know if you have any questions.

i am writing a code to plot a coordinate(x,y) according to the universal grid system in a picturebox. (0,0) is plotted in the centre of the picturebox. i am not able to plot the coordinate according to the actual points in the map, they get plotted at the wrong points. i do not know how to proceed further with the map. any help in this regard is highly appreciative.

You have approved an update of my article[^], where I have added a section, but its "Updated" date was not updated and the updated article was not shown in the list of updated articles. Why can this happen?

It happens when I make a mistake and forget to check the update box. Apologies. Should be fixed now.

Hi,
I have quite a few articles here on CP consumed over the last few years. However, I just noticed that they aren't getting consumed anymore. The only thing that comes to mind is that I've set only to show excerpts on the category listing - could this be the reason why the posts are not being consumed?
I did a little more digging and found out that the feed http://www.nikola-breznjak.com/blog/category/codeproject/feed/[^] indeed shows only excerpts and so I guess you can't pull them.
Is my only option showing the full content on the category pages again (I had a reason for doing it like this) or is there some other solution?
edit: I would just like to confirm that indeed - once I've set my category feed to show the whole contents, the articles got pulled again. Anyways, the qq remains - is this the only solution?

We can't pull the content if the content isn't shown
At this point it is the only solution, but it would be fairly straightforward for us to add an option to have items in your feed point to a "content" page. It would be fairly low on our priority though, unfortunately.

edit: I was too quick to jump the gun I guess. And, I guess you guys were indeed changing some still since the last time I posted - I just want to confirm that now I received the mail from Submit@codeproject.com informing me that one post (out of three that were pulled) so far was successfully published.
Anyways, I guess this thread can now be successfully closed ; below is the previous reply, obviously
Hey Chris,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Sure, I understand, and what I did was I changed the category listing to include the full post content and I actually got a second email today saying that: "Your article feed Nikola Brežnjak's Blog has been successfully consumed at 1 Feb 2015. 3 new articles were pulled.".
Now, first thing which looks strange to me is the date, and second, more important thing is that I usually saw those posts that were actually pulled in and I could see them that they're in the "approval" phase. Also, when the post would be "approved" I would see something along the lines of:
23 Sep 2014 9:22pm 10 Author Technical Blog consumed Technical Blog Custom YES/NO dialog.....
Now, I don't see any of that.
So, I would appreciate if you could explain this to me or look into it if it's some kind of a problem.
Thank you,
Nikola

I found a few typos in my article...Even those are more funny than serious, I would like to fix it...However, updating the article will add it to the next day's 'Updated' list where actually on content has been updated...
It is ethical to do so?
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

|
|
|

Of course it's ethical. No matter what the change, you are correcting it, so it is only appropriate that it gets added to the updated list.

Hi, there. Today I've submitted my article and it was approved, but I've got no votes for the article. Before, I've already submitted another article and initially there was one vote of 5. Why my article was approved with no votes for?

Posting an article doesn't come with a guarantee that you'll be flooded with lots of upvotes.
It's Sunday morning. Patience. If you're article is good the votes will come in.
Ask yourself this though: Are you posting articles just to get votes, or are you posting because you enjoy helping others learn from your experience?

Hi. I'm actually posting articles to help others from my experience. I'm really sorry for my question posted at the forum. I've raised this question solely for inquery purpose: what is actually the difference between articles.
Thanks a lot for your reply.

Posting questions like this is almost guaranteed to attract the sort of person who will down vote anything you post. Just post your articles and move on, votes do not pay the bills.

Please don't pay attention to my lastest post. The question about votes is actually out.
