Hi,
You better go to qtforum.org or qtcenter.org

I think you need to break your problem into bits, and solve them in smaller steps.
1/ Can you make a hello world program using Qt?
2/ Can you draw lines and dots using Qt?
3/ Can you draw a fake wiggly line using Qt (equivalent to Win32's PolyLine)
Then worry about getting your digital waveform...
a/ Where is it coming from?
b/ Can you read the data in using just a console program that printfs "I open data!", "I've read 1003 data points!" and so on.
c/ Can you read the waveform into some memory, process that into x/y points and then replace your fake wiggly line in (3).
If you ask "I need to write excel, please show me how", then you won't get help. But you might get help (or be able to search on google) with the smaller steps.
Iain.
Note, I've just about heard of Qt - I have no detailed knowledge of it.

Hi masters!
-----------
I know that TranslateMessage() converts "row" keyboard messages like
WM_KEYDOWN or WM_KEYUP to "baked" ones like WM_CHAR ...
Also I know that it does not modify It's argument (MSG).
My question is "where does TranslateMessage() send It's result (I mean
WM_CHAR)?
I have an EXE file with no "window" within it and a simple "message loop" at the
end. I'm trying to use above function to translate keyboard messages sent to it
through a DLL file (it's a system-wide keyboard hook); But TranslateMessage()
fails each time!

Actually the MSDN says, if the message is translated, it will post a WM_CHAR message to the queue. And you will get this WM_CHAR message the next time you call the GetMessage or PeekMessage.

I saw an article on the codeproject it deletes programs of TaskManager.

If you mean hiding your exe from the Applications tab of Task manager, that's "easy". You need to search for WS_TASKMODAL, and so on.
But reading your replies, you have a service, so it wouldn't show in the Applications tab anyway.
So, you must want to hide your exe from the Processes tab. That sounds like malware to me...
Please pursuade me that I'm wrong!

When I try to set tab order for a very big dialog by clicking the control in sequence ,the tab order restart to 1 when i use scroll bar to move to other part of the dialog.
this make it impossible to set tab order of the dialog that bigger than the resource editing window.
I read some where that i can use ctrl+click mouse to set the current order of control but it doesn't work in VS 2005
Please someone suggest me the solution.
Thank in advance.

problem solved, just using visual studio 6.0 as a resource editor

Another solution - after you scroll the window to show more of the dialog, hold down the control key while you click on the last item that you selected (before scrolling). This causes VS to pick up that items sequence as it's last value, so the next item you click on (without the control key) gets the next sequence number.
Hope that helps.

what would be the solution if i want to make my application supporting multilanguages (english, german, spanish, french,Italian, portuguese).
means when application starts then it asks to select language from user then
selected language should be displayed and data saving and retrieval from database(ms access) should also be in specefied language.
