I want to print a web page in my program, how should I do?

Try using the Internet Explorer control in ur application.

Do you already have a web browser control? If you do you can use the ExecWB method.

Guess you could try writing an ActiveX control
Or perhaps you might want to look into HTA

Do you mean an HTA, Hypertext Application? You can write an application that makes use of IE without displaying the IE toolbar, address bar, etc. If you are not familiar with this try changing the extention of a page from htm, or html, to hta and open it.

I searched this forum and found articles on taking application to full scrren.
I applied the way MSDN article ID:Q164162 specified. The problem I get a border when the window goes fullscreen. Is there a way to remove that border.
Thanks in advance.

Resize the window so the border is outside it. You can use GetSystemMetrics (SM_CXBORDER, SM_CYBORDER and SM_CYCAPTION to find out the size of those parts of the window you want to hide.

- TLS means thread local storage. MSDN says, we can use Dll to initialize TLS.
- I am puzzled at this point. I think TLS is a part of thread and Dll is not a part of thread. Why we should use Dll to initialize the TLS?
Do we use TLS in our Dll?
- I am a beginner of Dll and I have never used TLs before. So my question maybe stupid.
- Can you help? Or show me an example?

Maer

You can use TLS in a DLL. To use TLS you have to call TlsXXX Win32 API functions (like TlsAlloc, TlsFree) --or-- use __declspec(thread) modifier (VC6 only). However, if your DLL is going to be loaded via explicit call to LoadLibrary, you can't use __declspec(thread), only TlsXXX.

- Thanks for your reply pal!
- I still have a question. I think Dll can use its own local variable. Why should Dll use a storage in the thread? What is the advantage of TLS?
- Can you help?

- How to make the MSFlexGrid Control be able to input data in Visual C++? Are there any articles or posts?
- Can you help?

See this article in MSDN
EditGrid.exe: Edit Cells in MSFlexGrid ActiveX Control
I hope that this is all u r looking for. I have modified this article to even dynamically show lists on Grids.

- Thanks for your reply pal!
- But I can not find the topic in my MSDN. Is the topic "EditGrid.exe: Edit Cells in MSFlexGrid ActiveX Control"?
My MSDN is January 2001 version.
- Can you tell me where can I find the article? From MSDN and from the web are also OK.

It was in there two years ago when I used MSFlexGrid, and it's in my July 2001 edition MSDN. Have you installed it all ?
FWIW I use Chris Maunders grid control now, it smokes MSFlexGrid.

- Thanks pal!
- You must be an experienced programmer, I thought. Can you show me some articles about the topic?
- My MSDN is January 2001, it is older than yours.

The only article I ever read was the one in question, if you get stuck I'm happy to dig up my backup CD's and find some code for you.
Like I said, my current MSDN is newer than yours AND when I needed the info my MSDN was much older, therefore unless it was taken out and put back in, it must be in your MSDN as well.

The Article is a Knowledge Base article with the ID: Q196833
I am sure it is in the MSDN.

I am building my first MFC application which has MFC statically linked. A colleague says that I am not allowed to release a debug version of this to machines in the organisation that don't have a VC++ licence. He has pointed to an article in MSDN that says "..Note that debug versions of an
application are not redistributable and that none of the debug versions of various Visual C++ dynamic-link libraries (DLLs) are redistributable." Can anyone confirm my colleagues view and say why Microsoft are bothered about what version of my app I distribute?
