What are you doing? Do you intend to reproduce the function behaviour in C ?

No i want to hook the function and return the crypto char in the class.

Take a look at your manuals, you cannot access anything from a void* , you must cast it so that it points to some type, otherwise the compiler does not know how to access the data.txtspeak is the realm of 9 year old children, not developers. Christian Graus

Have you tried:
classfunction(((random_class *) pParam)->crypto_buf); "One man's wage rise is another man's price increase." - Harold Wilson
"Fireproof doesn't mean the fire will never come. It means when the fire comes that you will be able to withstand it." - Michael Simmons

Hi I give some code it return all list of installed Active X control. You can put condition what u want to check ActiveX control.
CoInitialize (NULL);
ICatInformation *pCatInfo=NULL;
HRESULT hr=CoCreateInstance (CLSID_StdComponentCategoriesMgr ,
NULL,
CLSCTX_INPROC_SERVER,
IID_ICatInformation ,
(void **)&pCatInfo);
pCatInfo->AddRef ();
IEnumGUID *pEnumGUID=NULL;
CATID pcatidImpl[1];
CATID pcatidReqd[1];
pcatidImpl[0]=CATID_Control;
pCatInfo->EnumClassesOfCategories (1,
pcatidImpl,
0,
pcatidReqd ,
&pEnumGUID);
CLSID clsid;
while( (hr= pEnumGUID->Next( 1, &clsid, NULL ))==S_OK )
{
BSTR bstrClassName;
OleRegGetUserType (clsid,USERCLASSTYPE_FULL,&bstrClassName);
CString strControlName(bstrClassName);
m_list1.AddString (strControlName);
}
pCatInfo->Release ();
CoUninitialize ();

if you want to check then you can used two option.
1. regsrvr32.exe Path of Activexcontrol trough command line.
or
2. Firstly use load library function after that getprocaddress function.

You could check if the following registry key exists -
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000}

Thanks! That worked.

There can be many reasons. How can we assume things without knowing the details of it?!

You probably have some blocking socket calls in your UI thread.
Some of the blocking socket calls are accept , recv etc.
You will need to create separate threads in which you can put these blocking calls.

Hi all,
I want to change colour of my edit box on button click ...... how can i do this...
Thanks in advance
|
|
|
|
|
Try this...
SendMessage(m_hWnd, EM_SETBKGNDCOLOR, 0, RGB(0, 255, 255)
|
|
|
|
|
Handle the WM_CTLCOLOREDIT message in the parent dialog and return the necessary colored brush.
Since you want to do this on a button click, in the button click event handler, set a flag and then call UpdateWindow for the edit control. In the WM_CTLCOLOREDIT message handler you can check this flag before returning the colored brush.

Hi
How we code for combination of keys like SHIFT+F3#sanroop#
|
|
|
|
|
Depends on the program. Are you using a window? If so, then when you get key up/down (which ever is more appropriate) event for F3, use the following code to test if the shift key is up or down:
if (GetKeyState(VK_SHIFT) < 0) ;
Notes:
VK_SHIFT is equal to 16.
The test is to see if the high order bit is set.
There are other ways of doing this, but you need to give more information so that we can determine what would work best.

If it were to be done system-wide, you'll need to install a keyboard hook. But you *do* have to provide more details. Please read the how to get an answer to your question sticky on top of the first page of this forum.

For a system wide hot key he can also use RegisterHotKey[^]. > The problem with computers is that they do what you tell them to do and not what you want them to do. <

Thanks, but I'm not the one who needs to know it. It may have helped if you had replied to the OP.
