I've since spoken with the author and shown him how to make his article less spammy. He isn't associated with the company, he just didn't understand the guidelines. I think he has a much better understanding now. When you see him again please do not destroy him
Thanks,

It happens. Everyone is allowed an opinion, and there are (I'm very glad to say, but not enough of them, unfortunately) female members here. Some of whom may have taken offence and reported it - I don't know, but that seems most likely given the subject matter.
Move on, and either ignore it or try not to post such material again...
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Highly sexist, not particularly funny, and disrespectful to the very small minority of female software engineers who already have enough of a hard time in this industry, but not technically abusive.
Not to mention: 10 years old, kinda lame, and a repost of a repost of a repost.
cheers

I think you replied to the wrong message. I was just being humorous.
But I agree. The soapbox is intended for to be a place to be offensive. It shouldn't get marked abusive unless it actually is abusive.

Doesn't this seem to be a little bit childish? You've had one negative comment about the content and you're throwing your toys out of the pram.
