@Sean-Ewingtonn or @Chris-Maunder
This report looks like a missunderstanding + the user in question is near being nuked + as OG says below, it doesn't seem you wanted him out = I would like to ask you to have a look on the timesstamps and reset the reports that came after being posted here (if you consider he doesn't deserve them)

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

Don't take it personal. You can't un-do your reports. I have just used your message because of the number to tell some staff to have a look.

Given that Chris was involved in that whole discussion, I don't think that bringing this up here is really on - clearly Chris doesn't feel that the material there was sufficient to warrant a ban, or he could have done it immediately. And since the account is still alive a week later...

Thanks Griff, and yes.
I've explained to Matt that
a) A signature is part of a message, and
b) The Lounge rules are the lounge rules.
He's trolling. Nothing more, nothing less, and it's sad to see that he's so desperate to keep the thread about him alive, even resorting to insults and baiting.
We always get inappropriate posts and they come and go before we realise, and often the poster isn't really thinking about what they are doing. Matt's very, very clearly pushing buttons so it means we now waste our time watching him.
He stepped over the line this morning in the Lounge so he no longer has the right to auto-include a signature. As a follow up I would simply ask that everyone please stop feeding the troll. If we can stick to that approach and keep the focus of our site on technology and community - supportive, fun, relevant community - then we're gold.
cheers
Chris Maunder

A thought occurs: If you are adding special code to remove his right to post an automatic sig, why not make a sig a reward instead of a right?
Just as a suggestion, when you first reach Silver Participant you get a special award which allows you to have a sig? Abuse it (spamming, or trolling) and the award is removed.
500 participant points isn't difficult to get - most first time posters have 300/bronze to start with - so visiting every day for a couple of months should do it, and it shows "a commitment" to the site without really penalising people for being noobs. Also stops people from setting up a spam sig from day one.
And if your code is anything like mine (and I'm betting yours is better) it's easier to fit in than a "special case" that only applies to one user.

There are a lot of ways to get participant points quite fast. Voting polls, voting contests, writing comments....

If voting the same poll 20 times in a day is participate... yes

I prefer to work on the basis that people are mostly good rather than mostly bad.

I agree with OriginalGriff. For that reason I would recommend you to remove the links.
