What’s new in this release?
The long awaited version of Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.4.2 has been released. This month’s release includes enhancements for copying ranges and numbers formatting. We have also made an enhancement to the List objects and Tables that are now copied when copying ranges between workbooks. Similarly, macros and VBA codes are copied in the XSLM file when you use the Workbook.Copy() method. We have fixed a few exceptions when manipulating PivotTables in the template file; we have also sorted out some issues regarding named ranges. In this release, several important issues have been addressed. For example, issues around rendering Microsoft Excel files, rendering PivotTables, manipulating advanced conditional formatting, rendering image files and exporting to PDF have been resolved. Issues pertaining to the formula calculation engine have also been fixed. We have made a few enhancements in Aspose.Cells for .NET’s web based Grid control. For example, GridWeb now allows you to read data list on the client side. We also made enhancements and fixes some bugs regarding formula calculations. We have also improved performance when loading and working with big Excel files. This release includes few enhanced features and plenty of bug fixes as listed below

The long awaited version of Aspose.Cells for Java 7.4.2 has been released. This hotfix is a maintenance release that contains fixes regarding issues reported in earlier versions. In this release, we have provided support to get locale based Date format for built-in Numbers. Now Macros/VBA codes are copied in the XSLM file when you use Workbook.copy() method. We have also improved HTML rendering module in this release. In this release, several important issues have been addressed. For example, issues around rendering Excel files and rendering image files have been resolved. Issues pertaining to the formula calculation engine have also been fixed. Fiorano Software (www.fiorano.com), a leader in enterprise integration and messaging middleware solutions, announced that Federal Bank has deployed Fiorano ESB to support India’s national ID-based welfare disbursement system (Aadhaar Payment Bridge System, APBS).
Currently, many of India's poorest citizens do not have ID cards, bank accounts or even addresses that they can use to obtain social services. The distribution of funds is wrought with inefficiencies, corruption and leakages. The APBS is a payment gateway platform created by the National Payments Corporation of India that will be used to electronically distribute funds to beneficiaries of social security pensions, employment guarantee program, public distribution system and other government programs.
Mr. P. Chidambaram, the Finance Minister of India, noted in a recent interview that the government spends “thousands and thousands of crores of rupees” (1 crore rupees = 10,000,000 rupees) on pension and various subsidies. “We are going to launch the ambitious program of paying direct cash subsidies to people through the Aadhaar system in 51 districts across 15 states by 2013,” he said.
The integration of data and managing settlements required to support the APBS involves managing multiple complex file formats of various banks and complying with the Reserve Bank of India’s standardized formats. Banks need to connect with employment guarantee and other subsidies, Social Security Pension, Handicapped Old-Age Pension and other government programs.
Federal Bank will be one of the first few “sponsor” banks in India to attain this capability. “This is a huge opportunity for banks to gain new customers and have access to large deposits,” said Mr. K P Sunny, IT Head at Federal Bank. “It can be a major competitive differentiator for a new customer’s decision on where to bank.”

What's New in this Release?
The long awaited version of Aspose.Words for .NET & Java (13.2.0) has been released. This month’s release supports rendering of 3D and shadows effects on Shapes. A shape or image in Microsoft Word document can have advanced effects applied to them, such as shadow, 3D rotation (extrusion), reflection and more. In previous versions Aspose.Words would render shapes with such effect to PDF and similar formats as regular shapes without the effects applied. Starting with Aspose.Words 13.2.0 we have made big improvements to this area of rendering and now 3D extrusion and simple shadows on shapes are now supported upon rendering. This release also supports reduction of File Size when Saving Documents with JPEG Images to PDF. We have made some improvements to the way JPEG images are exported to PDF which results in some great file size saving benefits. One test document which contained a few particularly large images had its output PDF size reduced by up to 12 times.
