We continue to evolve Uno Platform in lockstep with the latest Microsoft developer platforms and tooling. Our 3.10 release supports .NET 6 RC1, latest developments in WinUI and Windows 11 Fluent Styles (aka “Sun Valley”). One platform to support them all, and on the desktop run them
Meanwhile, Microsoft's own cross-platform tooling (MAUI) can't keep up with .NET 6[^]

I am sure that 'Microsoft Uno' is still just a matter of time.

A survey of 1,200 people offers some intriguing and, frankly, sorrowful conclusions about the future. Will you have to pay for an oil change and video download first?
Perhaps some "Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon"?

of the 40%, 20% are just desperate; 20% are perverts, and 20% are freaks.

perhaps like 100% of your forum posts, the survey takers just said whatever they thought would get attention ?

That gave me a good chuckle, which I needed this morning.

Of those 40%, 100% are horny
I don't really see the issue though.
People, especially women, use all kinds of toys, so why not a human-looking (and human-behaving!) toy?
Some well-trained AI is certain to hit that spot.
And while an advanced sex robot is probably pretty expensive, it's probably still cheaper than the real deal in the long run

There's a difference?

Perhaps you can't see the difference because you've never been part of a good, strong marriage. Believe you me, it is much more than a mere sexual relationship.
While I grant you the possibility of developing robots ("male" or "female") that are extremely good in bed, I doubt you could ever develop with them the bonds of affection, loyalty, and, yes, love that you have in a good marriage that has lasted for decades.

But I've been in neither
I never said anything about robots replacing relationships, although I'm sure people can get very attached to robots (or anything for that matter).
However if I had to choose between sex with a life-like robot or a simple toy... Well, that would be an easy choice

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that.
Note that I was not necessarily referring to a religious marriage; even a civil marriage presents some impediment to just getting up and walking out when things get tough (as they almost always do at some stage), and therefore encourages you to stay and work things out. It's also a good excuse for one hell of a party!

In the Netherlands, over 50% of marriages end in divorce.
Besides, why wouldn't you want people to walk away when they're clearly not into each other anymore?
I'd rather be happy alone than unhappy together.
Maybe being happy together is even better, but there's no need to get married for that.
I'd say the impediment is about at big when you're just living together, you have shared stuff, like maybe the house, the car, maybe children or a dog, you'd still have to tell all your relatives, get things sorted out with the government (you can't just live together and then don't)...
You can share a life without getting married.

Invitation: $1 a piece
Wedding invitation: $10 a piece
etc.
Plus a lot of guests are only invited because it's kind of a social obligation.
I'd much rather have a party with some close friends where I'm also not the center of attention.
All in all, I do not want to get married.

I won't stop until you're happily divorced
Mine is an unpopular opinion though, especially among women*.
Pair that with my wish not to have children ever** and you know why I'm still single...
* When the right woman comes along and she wants to get married I'd probably do it, but always prenup.
** This one's not up for debate.
