Windows 10++ sounds like they're rewriting it in C++. I have an article for them!

Microsoft now allows users of the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) to run commands automatically on WSL distribution startup. Oh, this won't lead to anything bad at all...

Looking at how some people "communicate"... that should not be that difficult.
On the other hand... claiming something, doesn't necessarily mean really being able of it.

I'm holding my breath for an AI to be able to distinguish between:

ethical and not
intelligent and stupid
emotional intelligence and psychopathic

A report published today by the Consortium for Information & Software Quality (CISQ) estimates poor software quality collectively cost companies in the U.S. an estimated $2.08 trillion in 2020. Everyone put a quarter in the bug jar, and we'll have it paid off in no time

Has anyone questioned the quality of their attempts to calculate, at least theoretically input data algorithms?
And speaking of input data - over the course of my career, the quality of the data that the software uses in directly proportional to the "holistic" quality of the software.
It would be a more fruitful study, IMO, if it looked at just how absolutely crappy the data source is.
GIGO.

In my programming career, there have been a few times when being a contrarian was good, and just as many times where I should have kept my mouth shut and stuck to the textbook or company charter. I have had those times too, where it would have been better to shut up. But looking back, there are actually more occasions where I should have told... "fvck off", "Go to hell", "are you nuts?" or "no ing way I am doing that"
