Yeah I read this one and I felt like what he was trying to say is "we don't have the exact laws". Which we know, and have known forever. I do agree we need a different language of thought to describe some of this, but it may turn out to be something we can actually describe perfectly well, and exactly, using our current language.
The problem may only in our brains hardwired to experience such a limited set, and behaviours of that set, of dimensions.

The Federal Trade Commission has filed an antitrust complaint in a bid to block Microsoft's planned $68.7 billion takeover of Activision Blizzard. I guess they're big Call of Duty fans (on Playstation)?

When the third major release of the Dart programming language debuts in mid-2023, null values will no longer be allowed where they're not expected. Nooooooooooooo!

How about 0x00000000, or "0x00000000"? (I don't know anything about Dart, but they are worth a try!)

Nobody expects null values. Their chief weapon is emptiness... and surprise. Their two weapons are emptiness and surprise, and crashes. Their three weapons are emptiness, surprise, crashes and unexpected behavior. Amongs their weaponry...

Null values are what you have to deal with when your language doesn't support exceptions. In 1964 when Hoare introduced the Null concept there were no exception handlers, so Null became an early exception indicator.
