Microsoft Excel spreadsheets get some new data type options. To NaN, and beyond!

Well... after all the missuse of Excel as database in all possible combinations (see that Covid spread that lost data due to column overflow), Microsoft is probably the last in taking that approach.
On the other hand... rest in peace, excel... I will miss you.

SlashData's latest Developer Nation report looks at the popularity of programming languages and trends from the global developer community. Your mileage may vary
Math is hard = "JavaScript is now used by more than 16.4 million developers globally, says a survey of more than 19,000 coders"
C# almost equal to C/C++? As much as I like the language, I'm a little skeptical. Sceptical, even.

Developers typically only code in what's putting money in the bank. I maintain javascript code, and even if it puts money in the bank, I f*ckin hate doing it.

Given the offers I received lately, I'd say C is going very strong... there is a distinct lack of embedded developers, and not the IoT flavour of them.

I'm assuming the icons still work

Windows 11: 'Doubly Secure!'

While those features may not be too much of an issue, I suspect anyone using Windows on a tablet without a keyboard may really feel the absence of the touch keyboard.
Notably including users of a MS Surface who didn't shell out the extra for the keyboard. Way to screw your own user's MS.

Using 147 satellites to beam broadband internet around the world Soon we won't be able to see the constellations for all these constellations

It's crazy. Amazon, Facebook, SpaceX, Boeing -- I mean, how big is this market actually to support all this "competition?"

Last mile connection is a big problem, especially outside of heavily urbanized areas. Non directional satellite internet can be even placed on ships and aircrafts, allowing for better search & rescue operations and better navigation in case of mishaps.

The potential market is bigger than you seem to think. Even SpaceX's not yet approved Starlink phase 3 (42k sats) won't be big enough to give broadband to all the people in the US outside of existing wired/good mobile service areas; compared to that everyone else rushing to get in ahead of the FCC's impending deadline for the next round of approvals is a tiddler.

Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

The vast majority of business and IT leaders see hybrid work in their future, and 42% think that over half of their workforce will be hybrid post-pandemic, according to a 2021 survey of IT pros. That's a job with the front of an eagle, the back of a horse, and the sting of a scorpion
I'm not sure where I was going with that either.
