Ivan and Sergei are getting really good at the fake news thing, aren't they?
Mind you, patent trolls are one of the lowest forms of life, so they were an easy target.

"Understanding what drives people to delay a software update—an important protective action because they fix bugs that attackers can exploit—would be a step toward preventing such cyberattacks" I'm sure it has nothing to do with the quality of many of those updates
Or frequency, in the case of Flash and Acrobat.
And Windows, now that I think of it.
Oh, and Office, of course.

Exactly! If there were separate security and "feature" updates, this user would be happier.

Microsoft's pitch to Windows admins: buy a Secured-core PC so you don't need to configure extra security settings. I'm sure there's a great reason why it's not just baked in everywhere?

Almost 65 percent of security professionals surveyed at the recent RSA conference admit to accessing documents that have nothing to do with their jobs. "Peek-a-boo (where'd you get those eyes?)"

I hope the data of the people answering that poll are better secured or more private than the documents they accessed, if not...

There ain't now way to hide your spyin' eyes

Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Uber today made available in open source Piranha, a tool that automatically deletes stale and unused code from app codebases. Use it or lose it
Am I the only one that feels this is a disaster creator?

Ok... (first see my message in the thread just below this)
Ok... now I understand why they are bringing a new version each 3 months... if nobody uses something, it will get deleted by this piranha tool.

NASA’s InSight lander, which is currently on the surface of Mars, has faced some unexpected problems during its mission to explore and study the planet. Percussive maintenance is often the solution
Except for coworkers - I've learned it's not optimal then.
