So the standard now is that if there is one flaw, an item can't be sold.
AI researchers prove once again that they are morons.

That's how it works with cars, toothbrushes, coffee cups, and everything else.
Too many software houses have been immune to the consequences of inadequate QA for too long a time, but this is a "major flaw in a core function" that could result in people's lives being completely ruined for no reason at all.

I didn't read the article, but surely minority is subjective to where you are, so why not just train the AI across ethnic locations, or is that too simplistic.

I did read the article, the sub-headline is erroneous.
The gist is that the software is particularly dysfunctional when dealing with darker skinned people and females.

The reason people AREN'T developers is because they're not wired for it, and/or have no interest in being one. People like that that are given the tools are more of a liability than anything else.
Did you notice that the vast majority of the feature presenters in the video were women? And not only women, but reasonably attractive women. So, even if you're pretty, you can be a programmer too.

Working in an office with nothing but dudebro's as cow-orkers sucks. I'm in favor of demolishing anything real or imagined that might convince otherwise qualified women to stay out of our field.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

That would be fine if it weren't for the modern-day gender fluidity acceptance the liberal left insists that we accept.

Microsoft has pulled Books from the Microsoft Store and is planning to offer customers who've purchased any ebooks via the Store refunds, as their books will no longer be accessible as of July, 2019. Remember when you could buy books and they stayed on shelves? Good times.
And you could use the Jan Hankl method[^] to find them!
At least they're offering a refund.
On a related note - yay for Libby[^]!

Because people who like winio and the ms store don't fall into the category of people who can read.
So we've finally found the demographic that ms has been targetting with all its baby blocks, effluent interfaces, and immaterial designs.
I'm glad we've sorted that one out.
Anyone know who makes operating systems and UIs for grown-ups?
