Exactly my thought, I suspect they be alarmed how many users leave in the next few weeks.
The apex of stupidy, adding Terms and Conditions so unacceptable just as viable alternatives are surfacing.

Many programmers are very fond of blaming the compiler for different errors. Let's talk about it. That loop without an exit condition I wrote last week? Totally the compiler's fault.

Before there were tools like IFTTT, which lets you mash up data from web services along with other content in new ways, there was Yahoo Pipes, an online (and somewhat geeky) visual interface that let you aggregate and filter web data without requiring the end user to have programming skills. The reality we live in is that “Senior Developer” means a person who has been slinging code for more than 3 years. These people are put into leadership positions, and typically things play out as you would expect — quite badly. "In a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence."

I have more than 4 years of experience so I would count myself as senior.
Otherwise, a senior is someone who has a very bad attitude toward the juniors, always willing to prove them wrong, unethical, stupid and sometimes inhumane. Too senior to be a human!

These days a bunch of grads got a title Technical Lead, Systems Lead ... with in 6th month or less. This is v annoying and ethically wrong IMHO.Don't mention how they got the job. NO INTERVIEW(it's who you know rather than what you know).

Microsoft showed off a bunch of upcoming PCs that will use Windows 10 during its Computex 2015 keynote address. Two of them are small form-factors designed to connect to big-screen TVs, including one, the Quanta Compute Plug, that has its PC hardware inside a power adapter. I don't think it will run VS terribly fast though

Entire animated site is composed, the creator claims, using only CSS: [^].
"BORN OUT OF TINKERING WITH A SIMPLE PROPERTY, THIS PROJECT IS UNABASHEDLY PART-DIGITAL EXPERIMENT. THE CORE TECHNOLOGY USED HERE IS JUST GOOD OLD CSS — NO CANVAS OR WEBGL WITCHCRAFT.
Since hearing about CSS polygons, I've been a little surprised at the lack of furore around the technology, so I wanted to create something which not only worked as a project in itself, but also pushed this underused line of code as far as possible."
Looking at the source for one page, I can see the author is using jQuery,jsModernizr, and the usual Twitter, FaceBook, Google Analytics, tie-in code.

Whether developers like it or not, DevOps is here to stay. At the DevOpsCon in Berlin, we spoke to DevOps consultant Andreas Schmidt about why the initial hurdles are worth the switch to a DevOps approach. "You load sixteen tons, what do you get?"

You know, I still don't know what DevOps really means or does or why I should care. Wikipedia says:
DevOps (a portmanteau of "development" and "operations") is a software development method that stresses communication, collaboration, integration, automation, and measurement of cooperation between software developers and other information-technology (IT) professionals.
and now I care even less.

It means that coder is also a (the?) sysadmin on the server their code is running on.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Side effect of order to move to IE11 by Jan. 2016: A third as many deserted to Chrome as met Microsoft's demand. "It was beauty killed the beast."
Yeah. No idea why that was the first thing into my head.

Just the opposite: The beast is being killed by beauty.

Far from being "just the opposite", your version means exactly the same as Kent's.
