Yes, because JP Morgan are such wonderful, caring people.
I heard (from pals I worked with in the financial sector) that JP Morgan and Bloomberg are becoming interested in starting their own cryptocurrencies, so that they'll have control over them, the same way they have control over half the world's digital money.
IMO, the only thing that separates them from the drug dealers is that they don't sell drugs. Their behaviour is often just as criminal, and hurts just as many people.

Sure.
As soon as use by the criminal element pushed up the "value" of the things by incredible percentages, "decent" people thought it was OK to capitalise on the misery they were causing.
Cryptocurrencies would still be a nerdy thing, like Asgardia, if it hadn't been picked up by drug dealers and other criminals as a way to hide their blood money.
Slavery used to be a great investment opportunity, too. Profit doesn't make bad things good.

I didn't and I would also recommend against buying it - but that doesn't mean I'm going to repeat nonsense oneliners just to back up my claim.
Before the BC existed, almost all criminal activities were done with dollars. Even now, they still prefer dollars because of a thing called liquidity. Most people who own BC are speculative idiots who were betting on stocks before; because it would be "anonymous" and you could hide your taxes there. Both turned out to be not exactly true.
If BC is forbidden here because it is used for terrorism and criminal activities, then the dollar should too, using the same argumentation.

Learning a new language is no easy task, and for programming languages, it’s no simpler. I think you're in the right place

Using memory techniques and cramming shouldn't even come into it, so have no place in such an article. You don't burn a new language into your head by reading chapter after chapter of a book; you remember it by using it, by researching how to do that you haven't done with the language before.
And courses waste too much of your time, because training exercises don't prepare you for much.
You're better off with a quick ref for the syntax, and a search engine (the latter is about the only thing the article got right).
Pick a project, and get on with it. I'd suggest converting code you've already written, which contains things that you had to research before.
And it's not a bad idea to focus on the things that you'll need to do with the language, rather than just general "This is how x works" stuff.
So, all in all, a pretty useless article. I don't think I'll be signing up for more advice from this "Expert software architect with a deep knowledge of building products for the mass market".

1. get a client who requires you to use it, pays cash, has unlimited funds, and will have no problem if your length of employment is indefinite.
2. get hired to teach a course in it.
3. get a "Dummies," or, "... in 24 hours" book, read it, write a few articles barely disguising your plagiarism, and publish them on some anything-goes web-site: then market yourself as a consultant.
