My daughter, aged 12, took a class on sign language, was enthralled, and is now watching YouTube videos to teach herself.
Sounds good right? Well, she thinks everyone knows sign language and so signs to them and waits for a response. She even signs when she is singing, practicing the words she knows.
Can you imagine what Klingon sign language would be like?

What an incredibly weak article. It is just a rehash of someone else's article. The worst part is it makes statements and then includes supporting quotes that have little to do with the original statement.

My daughter/son-in-law have an alexa in their place. Left alone with it for a few minutes, I said:

Apparently He/She/It/They were prepared for this and had a reply with obviously hurt feelings.

(That said, most airlines tickets charge $50 to $100 to change a reservation, so the actual savings aren't what they mentioned in their example.

People take their Macs to an Apple store.

Apple has the might "command" button. It often looks like a propeller.
And a "control" and "alt" button for which the tough Apple-guys are knowing a lot short-cut commands

Perhaps the fact that users are prevented from upgrading their over-priced shiny wonder is a factor ?
And, how about average cost of repair, rather than frequency ? And, breaking out hardware repairs from software/OS repair/restore/re-install ?

A have an Acer laptop that's eight years old, and has *never* had a failure.
Maybe they are referring to the 1 year life-span of their laptops where they try to compel you to upgrade to the latest and greatest version before your current one starts exhibiting issues.
