In their paper published in the journal Royal Society Open Science, Francis Mollica and Steven Piantadosi describe applying information theory to add up the amount of data needed to store the various parts of the English language.
Barely more than a floppy. Which may explain some people's difficulty with it.

I'd have thought the exceptions to "i before e, except after c" alone could fill a CD.

And I'm sure that I've broken some rule of grammar, somewhere in this post. It's a law.
