Yeah, I think that's a pretty fair estimate.
Getting rid of some of the Java cruft is a good thing, and seeing as how most people don't have the ... precision ... for Scala.

Still remembering last year, he wanted to reopen Google office in China and then backed off at the last minute due to employee protests. In China, for all companies, data has to be stored within the country making them fully accessible to the communist government which does not have a great human rights record.
This person truly has no credibility.
