I do disagree with your opinion.
I did, and in the case of Windows 10, am still using them correctly. I develop applications with no problems under both Windows 10 and additionally, the best version of the Windows O/S, Windows 7.
The best version of Office is certainly not the 365 version. Any of them from '97 to 2016 are fine and work well. I started writing my book under Word 5 (DOS) and am finishing it with Word 2003 which works fast and well, especially when I am not connected to the internet - which is most of the time when I am writing.
The latest Excel I am using is 2016 which is fine - I don't use the other stuff, except PowerPoint occasionally, so I don't want to give any opinion on that.
Oh, I just realised I am wasting my time arguing with...

Has the rate that people learn to not pickup hot things bare handed for the first time decreased over the last 20 years?
Many of the vulnerabilities exist because coding and examples make it so easy for newcomers to burn them self before learning.
